Festive opening of Volkswagen Foundation project “Reading at Scale” in the LitLab

The project „Reading at Scale. Mixing Methods in Literary Corpus Analysis“ received funding from the Volkswagen Foundation in the programme “Mixed Methods in the Humanities?” and launches in the summer term of 2017. Under the supervision of Thomas Weitin (Digital Literary Studies, Darmstadt) and Ulrik Brandes (Algorithmics, Konstanz) a group of PhD researchers works on representations of texts on various aggregation scales and combines qualitative-hermeneutical and statistical methods.
Prof. Dr. Ulrik Brandes (Algorithmics, Konstanz) will hold a ceremonial address in German at 6 p.m. and afterwards the guests are invited to a reception in the LitLab.
